The CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity and Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Bluepoint Environmental the 2012 Economic Champion award for their contribution to the economic development of the CenterState New York region.
Each year, CenterState CEO recognizes local businesses as Economic Champions for their contributions to the economic growth of the CenterState New York region through their capital expenditures, hiring of new employees, expansion or relocation due to growth and for state or national recognition. This year’s Economic Champions created more than 1,727 new jobs, invested over $1.5 billion in equipment and capital improvements and added more than 1.3 million square feet of space at their locations over the last year. Nominated companies were recognized at CenterState CEO’s annual Economic Champions Luncheon on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the OnCenter in Syracuse, NY.
