Bluepoint Environmental is a full service indoor environmental quality consulting firm. We offer a unique multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and resolving air quality problems in residential and commercial properties. The company is one of only four in New York State to maintain accreditation through the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP). Bluepoint Environmental services a wide range of clients and buildings including: hospitals and health care facilities, commercial office buildings, pharmaceutical clean rooms, restaurants and hotels, airports, schools and universities, apartment complexes and various residential properties.

Principal Owner & Indoor Environmental Hygienist
Overall responsibility for the operation, management, marketing, and sales for the company. Provide technical assistance and consultation to team members. Performs indoor air quality testing and consulting in various commercial properties.
Richard Dickinson
Senior Microbiologist & Indoor Environmental Hygienist
Mr. Dickinson consults widely on microbial and chemical contamination in both residential and commercial properties, including all manner of field testing, remediation protocol design, and post remediation verification; is an AIHA certified analyst in direct exam fungal analyses; participates in S.O.P. review and design for mycological laboratory methods; special project design/efficacy testing for commercial antimicrobial products; performs NYS asbestos inspections; NY State medical waste compliance testing; Pharmacy Cleanroom and Associated Controlled Environment ISO 146441.1999 (E) Compliance Testing; has 25 years experience in lecturing and seminar presentations and currently lectures in indoor environmental air quality including mold & chemical remediation, field sampling, and protocol design.
Alvin Chan
Environmental Engineer & Environmental Field Technician
Coordinates field testing and analysis of indoor air quality for residential and commercial properties and is a certified asbestos building inspector that conducts NYS asbestos building inspections and sampling. Analyzes post remediation results and report preparations. Reports results to clients within desired turn around time. Works to maintain the company's accreditations, seek new licenses, and grants. Has expertise in pollution control systems and interest in mycoremediation.
